ABOUT ME
"How I got started with LEGO"
It wasn't until three years ago (2021) that I discovered my love for Lego - I was not exposed to Lego before this - while looking for a stress-relieving (hobby) activity. Work was becoming increasingly demanding, and I needed something to help me unwind after a long day at the office.
Browsing through different hobby options online, I saw a beautifully intricate McClaren Lego set (42141). I immediately bought this, and once I started building it, I knew it was my new hobby.
After completing my first set, I was hooked!
I started researching different sets and techniques and joined online communities of adult Lego enthusiasts.
As of September 2024, I have over 300 sealed Lego sets and 500 LBS of Lego pieces (sorted by color)—this is crazy! My guest room is now known as THE LEGO ROOM.
One of the things I love most about Lego is its never-ending possibilities. There's always a new set to build or a unique way to combine bricks and create something completely original. It allows me to constantly challenge myself and push my creativity and technical skills. It is never too late to learn something new - even for an old man (lol)
I will acknowledge success in this activity when I can design my own 1:8 F1 car with intricacies similar to my collection's.
Until then, I will continue building and buying new and used Lego pieces. I developed this website to sell excess Lego pieces and hard-to-find Lego sets to others who share my passion.
